Who’s ready for some binge-watching? Oxygen is set to premiere a new series, Deadly Cults, which will feature firsthand accounts of some of the deadliest cults of our time.

Yes, cults have been around forever, and likely always will be. But, do they continue to intrigue us? Of course they do.

The average person will simply smile and politely walk away from some guru who tells them he or she is a 1000-year old vampire with the precise location to the fountain of youth – all for a mere donation of your life savings and any personal life you wish to have (we’re pretty sure there’s a lifetime supply of Kool-Aid hidden in the sales pitch, too.)

For many cults are mysterious, for others they are old-hat and boring, and there are those that may find them downright fascinating.

If you find cults interesting, note that Oxygen will premiere their new limited series Deadly Cults on February 10TH AT 8/7C.  The series will consist of four hour-long episodes that dives into the strange world of cults, including investigators findings of bizarre missing person cases and bring home the ugly reality that cults are real and no laughing matter.

More from Oxygen:

“Deadly Cults” recounts each case through interviews with the investigators, former cult members, and family and friends closest to the victims. The series explores the chilling tales of cult leaders and the psychology behind them exploiting fear and hatred in the hearts and minds of their followers, which often leads them to kill. The premiere episode delves into a grisly double homicide involving two parents and a missing girl that launches a multi-state dragnet with one of the suspects claiming to be a 500-year-old vampire.

  1. Thanks for your article on this web site. From my very own experience, many times softening way up a photograph may well provide the digital photographer with a bit of an imaginative flare. Sometimes however, the soft cloud isn’t just what you had in your mind and can in many cases spoil an otherwise good photo, especially if you anticipate enlarging them.
