A second grade teacher in Oklahoma decided to borrow a coworker’s computer to log on to Facebook. Unfortunately for her, she forgot to log out after detailing a post of her criminal activity.
Megan Sloan, 27, was arrested Monday when police found needles, as well as both methamphetamine and heroin in her purse while she was working. Authorities also found 13 hypodermic needles in her property. It is also reported that she possessed a substance called Suboxone, which is used to tame the effects of opiod abuse.
Reports indicate that Ms. Sloan was arrested on charges of embezzlement and drug possession after a fellow teacher became aware of her alleged drug abuse, and selling school property. Police followed up to interview Sloan, she then admitted to pawning two school computers, selling heroin as well as stealing $125 which was meant for a student field trip. Sloan, who taught at the school for two years, also admitted to having Xanax. It is unclear whether she had been legally prescribed the Xanax or not.
Ms. Sloan was then taken into custody at the Creek County Jail on charges of possession or purchasing a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, embezzlement and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Her bail was set at $41,000.
If you have been arrested for possession of drugs and require legal assistance, it might be a good idea to speak to someone at the Law Offices of Jonathan F. Marshall if you’re in New Jersey.
Judging from the looks of her mugshot one has to wonder if her coworker’s had any clue that she was on drugs…
It will likely always remain a mystery…Follow us on Facebook here and on Twitter here.
