Over the last couple of days Twitter has reacted to a controversial tweet sent out by the official account of Sussex Police, UK.

According to Sussex authorities they have jailed a man for over a year after he posted his opinion of Muslims on Facebook.

That’s right, he’s been jailed for his online opinion. Did he physically harm anyone, cause any public disturbance? No. Someone just didn’t like his opinion.

Meanwhile, the thought police’s tweet certainly caused a well-deserved international uproar. See for yourself.

What could go wrong, there?

It should be noted that that Germany seems to be taking similar actions.
